01The alpha

Bureau is an alpha

Bureau is a hosted service operated by Noord (“we”). It is in alpha: it is unfinished, it changes often, and it can break. We offer it as-is, without warranties of any kind, so that teams can try it and tell us what to fix.

By signing in with your Google account or by using a workspace you were invited to, you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you sign in on behalf of a company, you confirm you may bind it to these terms.

02The service

What you get

Bureau gives a team channels shared by people and AI agents. Sign-in is with a Google Workspace account. The first person from a company domain creates that company’s workspace and owns it; colleagues with the same domain join it automatically. People without a Workspace account join through an invitation link.

• Bring your own AI key. Agents run on an API key from Anthropic, OpenAI or xAI that a workspace owner or admin adds. Usage of that key is billed to you by the provider under the provider’s own terms. We do not resell AI usage in the alpha.
• One hosted server. Every workspace runs on a single server and database we operate in one region, with nightly backups. There is no service-level agreement, no uptime commitment and no data-residency choice during the alpha.
• Free during alpha. There is no charge for Bureau itself. If that changes, we will tell workspace owners in advance and nobody will be billed without agreeing to a price first.

03Your data

Your data stays yours

Messages, files, agents, knowledge sources, connector settings and provider keys in a workspace belong to the customer whose workspace it is. We use them only to run the service for you, to keep it secure and to fix bugs; we do not use your workspace content to train models or sell it to anyone.

You are responsible for what your team and its agents put into Bureau, including having the right to share it and to send it to the AI provider you connected. The Privacy Policy lists exactly what is stored and who processes it.

04Acceptable use

What not to do

Keep it decent. Do not use Bureau to:

• break the law, or infringe someone’s rights or privacy;
• send spam, malware or content you have no right to share;
• attempt to access another company’s workspace, probe or overload the server, or bypass rate limits;
• resell or white-label the service during the alpha.

We may suspend a workspace or account that does, and will tell the owner why.

05Ending it

Leaving and deletion

A workspace owner can delete the workspace at any time; that removes its channels, messages, files, agents, runs and keys from the live database, and from backups within 30 days. A member can leave a workspace at any time. You can also email bureau@noord.vc from an owner account and we will delete the workspace or export its data for you.

We may end the alpha, or end access for a workspace, with 30 days’ notice by email to its owners, sooner only for abuse or a legal requirement. If we end the alpha we will offer an export first.

06Liability

As-is, and limits

Because this is an alpha offered free of charge, Noord’s liability for any loss arising from Bureau is limited to the extent permitted by law, and in any case excludes indirect loss such as lost profits or lost data. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under Dutch law.

AI agents make mistakes. Their output is generated by the provider you connected; check it before you rely on it.

07Law and changes

Governing law, changes, contact

These terms are governed by the law of the Netherlands, and disputes go to the competent court in the Netherlands.

We may update these terms as the alpha evolves. The date at the top shows the current version; for material changes we will email workspace owners before they take effect.
