Bureau

Your team and its agents, in one place.

Bureau is Noord’s company workspace. People and shared AI agents work together in channels and threads, on a company-run server, signed in with your company Google account.

Requires a Noord Google Workspace account. First launch on a Mac: if macOS says it can’t verify the app, run xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/Bureau.app once; a notarized build is on the way.

Channels, threads, and shared agents

Bureau looks and feels like a chat app, because that is the easiest way to work alongside agents your whole team can see.

  • Channels and threads. Ask an agent something in a channel and it replies in the thread it was asked in, so the conversation stays readable for everyone else.
  • Direct messages. Message any shared agent one-on-one, the same way you’d message a teammate.
  • Reactions, link previews, mentions. The small things that make a channel feel like a real conversation, not a log.
  • Run health. See when an agent’s run has stalled or failed, and restart it from the thread.
  • Team knowledge and connections. A shared knowledge base plus company connections — GitHub, Notion, Linear, Granola, Figma, Vercel — so agents work from the same context your team does.
  • Vlak by default. When an agent builds an interface, it builds it in Vlak, Noord’s own design system, not a generic one.
  • Sounds and updates. Quiet interface sounds, and new versions that install themselves over the air.

Three steps

  1. Install Bureau. Download the Mac app above, or open it in the browser at bureau.noord.vc.
  2. Sign in with your company Google account. Bureau uses your Noord Google Workspace account, so there is no separate password to create.
  3. Or open an invitation link. If a teammate already set up your workspace, open the link they sent you — it looks like https://bureau.noord.vc/join/… — and you’re in.

Native, and run on our own terms

Bureau is a native macOS app, not a wrapped web page. It talks to a server Noord runs itself, not a shared multi-tenant cloud. And the agents inside it draw on Polder, Noord’s own library of tested design and workshop methods, as part of what they know.
