# Advertising assets

Search-ad examples and display formats for Google and social campaigns.

**TL;DR**

Match the promise, copy, and format to the place the ad will appear. Check current platform limits and review the real exports. Tiny unreadable text does not become persuasive because we paid to show it.

Status: Working reference

## Before you start

For: Designers and campaign producers

Use when: A media plan has defined which placements are being bought.

Bring: Approved claims, landing page, brand assets and placement specifications.

Leave with: A reviewed set of copy and creative matched to the media plan.

## Worked example (fictional)

A fictional scheduling tool advertises fewer booking steps. Attach evidence to that claim, match the landing-page wording and export only the sizes in the buy.

## Check the result

Confirm claims, destination links and placement specifications before trafficking.

## Limitations

Generating assets does not publish or purchase ads. Platform approval is separate.

An ad has very little time to explain itself. Decide what someone should understand and where they should go, then see whether the copy and image still do that at the size you are buying.

The examples below cover search, display, and social placements. Work from the media plan, keep the claims consistent with the landing page, and check the destination's current specifications before export. You do not need a full set of formats for a campaign that uses three.

## Method

1. Choose the formats in your brief and check the destination requirements.

2. Gather the approved copy, brand files, and licensed images. Use the production prompt as a checklist or paste it into your assistant.

3. Keep editable masters in your design app. Export the files, open them, and review the actual result before publishing or sending it to a supplier.

A complete ads set on one page, sized for the buy.

## Handoff

Record the input sources, decisions, assumptions, owner and acceptance checks. Have the responsible person approve the record before downstream automation.

## Tools, in order

### Before production

[Notion](https://www.notion.com/) · A versioned project folder

Match the media brief to current placement specifications and the landing page. Attach support for each factual claim.

Carry forward: A placement, copy, and evidence matrix.

### During production

[Figma](https://help.figma.com/hc/en-us/articles/15145852043927-Create-and-manage-variables) · [Claude](https://claude.ai/), [ChatGPT](https://chatgpt.com/), or [Grok](https://grok.com/)

Develop one direction against the approved claim, then adapt it to the booked placements. Keep copy changes visible to the campaign owner.

Carry forward: Draft ads with versioned copy and artwork.

### Before trafficking

[Browser and accessibility checks](https://www.w3.org/WAI/test-evaluate/preliminary/) · A versioned project folder

Check landing-page consistency, legibility, export requirements, and links. Keep creative approval separate from platform acceptance and the media buy.

Carry forward: An approved creative package for the named placements.

### Review the work with partners

We make and revise the work with Claude, ChatGPT, or Grok, then put selected versions on our Studio project pages for partners to review. Check the preview before sharing it. You can do the same with a private prototype or shared document; use a workspace that can access the files you need.

Name the version, say what changed, and ask the question you need answered. Keep feedback with that version and discuss conflicting requests before making the next changes. Confirm approval separately, and keep confidential work in a restricted space.

For this method: Does each version support the same claim and lead to a page that delivers on it?

### Delegate the routine work

Produce size variants from a checked master and compare copy against the approved text.

Keep with a person: Claims, audience choices, budget, and permission to launch need the responsible people.
